Title: Should Kerry just stay on vacation?
Post by: Swing low, sweet chariot. Comin' for to carry me home. on March 23, 2004, 10:59:17 AM
I'm beginning to believe Kerry's negativity rating will continue to climb each time he opens his mouth.  Maybe his chances of winning in Nov would be better if he simply remained on vacation.

Probably wouldn't help though, he has continued to lose his temper and make dumb comments even on vacation.  And the appearance of his body on top of a snowboard hasn't help.

I think Kerry should continue to be an empty shell for ABBers to fill with what they want. At least, that's the best electoral strategy.

never underestimate kerry.

he was way down against bill weld in 96 and came back and beat him.

he was way back with the 'also rans' in iowa and nh in december of 03.

That will ultimately hurt him buy doing that.

Yes, but hopefully not until the election...Kerry is such a poor candidate that it actually seems like the best bet to me.

There are two strengths of a Kerry campaign:
1. He closes in late and wins.
2. He had a masterful staff during the primary. He needs the same guys to guide him now.

I'll assume you mean those left after the first firing spree.

Bush and Kerry both are in fact 'chronically underestimated'.

Don't you mean "misunderestimated"?

Nice.  Thanks for the effort StevenNick, but I don't think they're going to let that other thread fall off the screen just yet.
