Title: who votes the dems?
Post by: lookha on December 13, 2004, 05:44:34 AM
Hi everone!
first off: presenting myself
I'm a journalism student who's quite into politics :D
At the moment I'm doing a research study on the democrats' electorate, particularly the historical evolution since the beginnings.
Nowadays isn't too difficult to find data about the electorate(gender, incomes and stuff) but these datas are mainly referred to the lateste elections (2004 and 2000).
Does anyone know where I can find this kind of statistics?

Mind, I don't mean you guys have to do the job for me :D
I'm just asking if you know where I could go to start digging ;)
Meanwhile, I'll have a look at the site.
Thanks
L.

Most books on the subject will list their raw sources in the bibliographies. This can start you on your hunt for raw data.Good luck with your studies ;)
