That's why most Jews tend to be quite secular and independent. You have the anti-Israel far left and the anti-mainstream-Jew far right. We just don't fit in either direction.

It is certainly true that a great majority of christian America remains quite anti-semitic, and the majority of them vote Republican.

Argh!  Contrary to what the Jews and the Nazis think, there is no ethnically Jewish.  Judaism is a religion, not an ethnicity!

On the average Jewish people are better educated and more knowledgeable. The Democrats get from Jewish voters around 30% above their national percentage

All minorities prefer (overwhelmingly or slightly) the Democrats:  Gays, Blacks, Jews, Asians, Hispanic and Catholics.
Why? There is probably a good reason for this.

some good reasons:

1. the dems play the race card. 
2.  the dems promise a lot of wood nickels to minorities.  if democrats were so damn generous to those of color, how come all inner-cities are slums?  what have the democrats done in dc, atlanta, new orleans, chicago etc etc.

What do you mean by anti-Israel? Are you counting anyone who has ever criticized the Israel government, including Israeli jews?

I am saying that most really far-leftists tend to criticize Israel quite often. However, I'm not really pro-Israel, so I can't explain it for you very well.

Uh yes there is ethnic and religous Jewish differences.

To put it this way, there not very religous.

I am consider by some to be on the "far-right" yet I support Israel because it is a useful American ally in the Middle East and the only functioning Democracy in the region. Actually democracy is the major reason I support Israel not some religious second coming nonsense. '

 
Actually Catholics went for Bush 56-44 in this election IIRC. Hispanics have been trending Republican also and some Asians, like Indian Americans, are very Republican groups.

California Asians have had a backlash against Bush from 2000.

They went for him 50-50 in 2000, and 65-35 against him in 2004.

Asian Indians are pretty Democratic here...

Well outside of California they are very Republican. I would refer you to the National Review I think it was December 10th issue which had an article on this subject.

Yes it is but he didn't write the article.

What did I just say?  Contrary to what JEWS think, they are not an ethnicity.  This survey was done by a Jewish group.  There are people who dont practice the Jewish religion that consider themselves Jewish.  This is just stupid.  By their measure, I would be considered Jewish, even though I do not believe in any Jewish beliefs.

NYS Asians went 72-27 for Kerry.

Their is no Jewish "race". Judiasm is a religion, nothing more. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to you. Most of the Jews in this country are Russian/Eastern European. I would bet that 99% of modern day Jews can not trace any ancestor to ancient Israel whatsoever. That's why I feel their religious claims to Israel are bogus to say the least.
