Cheney actually didn't want to run again in 2004, but Bush convinced him to stay on. If Cheney still leaves, who are some likely replacements?

Giuliani? McCain? Thompson? Some outside choices might be Liddy Dole or Colin Powell.

Guiliani would have made GOTV harder for the base, but would have worked well with hawks and moderates.

Frist would have been similiar to OTL.
