Another experiment of USA with Italian Parties, but this time with American Politicians as Italian party leaders.

Coalitions, with presidential candidates and party leaders.

Barack Obama - Joe Biden
PD: Barack Obama
IdV: Ralph Nader
SeL: Howard Dean
Radicals: Ron Paul
Greens: Cynthia McKinney
Socialists: Bobby Sanders
FdS: Sam Webb

CENTER-RIGHT COALITION
Donald Trump - Bobby Jindall
PdL: Donald Trump
Northern League: Byron Dorgan
The Right: Michelle Bachmann
Great South: Phil Bryant

CENTER COALITION
Michael Bloomberg - Mitt Romney
UDC: Michael Bloomberg
FLI: Mitt Romney
API: John Edwards
MPA: Haley Barbour

Ah, interesting.  I'd say Sanders might be likelier to lead SEL.  Dean was a rigid fiscal conservative as governor of Vermont, after all.  Dean might be on the PD's left-wing, with Obama being a bit like Dario Francheschini, except as the leader.

I don't know much about Italian politics, but I can't see Barbour being in the center by any measure, except maybe in Poland.
