There are no Democrats running. Discuss with maps!

Sanders/Sanders
A fairly close race, and depressed turn out on both sides could swing it either way.
The important thing to realize is that, while Paul's ideology is a departure from the Republican norm, Sanders' is simply an intensification of the Democratic one. This would probably result in Sanders receiving significantly more support from donors and the establishment. A third (or rather fourth) party might do fairly well.

*Can't post maps*

A close but clear Sanders victory. Sanders is fairly pro-Israel, so that'll likely help in Florida. And I think he's likely to play well in the Midwest. I hedged a bit on Nevada, Maine, and New Hampshire, but they wouldn't be able to switch the balance.

Not to advertise in someone's thread, but I have a TL like this ;).  I think they'd split the hipster vote, with Paul winning in a landslide because of his superior name recognition.

Arizona's a pretty Jewish state and I think Sander's Worker's Rights coalition would carry West Virginia. Paul takes most of the cowboy country and loses Nevada by the slimmest of margins. Likewise Sanders in New Hampshire and Maine's 1st CD.

Very close race. I think Sanders would narrowly prevail, eventually. Even though Paul would carry a slim majority of independents, I think he would demobilize republican voters more than Sanders would for democrats.

)

Sanders (Progressive) : 50.5%, 273 EVs
Paul (Libertarian) : 49.5%, 265 EVs

Yes.  We are so crawling with Democrats over here that there is a fiscally responsible majority in the Democratic party, while us Republicans are still filled with nixonites.  Case in point: contrast Jerry Brown with Arnold.  Just think about it...the Democrats here are better Republicans than the Republicans!

I doubt socialist sanders would make it past 40% in Florida, and Nevada and New Mexico are very libertarian.

Ron Paul would not win every state. Maybe 49 of 50, but no way he wins Vermont.

Im afraid I have to call bullsh*t on you there.  Against the president, he won 47% of women to 49%.  Add in some socialist sprinkles for another 2-3%.  Then -10% for their aftertaste.

This would be probably my favorite election in U.S. history.

Something like this. NH would be the purest of pure tossups.

Sanders (I) – 326
Paul (L) – 211

Representative Ron Paul (R-TX)/Gary Johnson (R-NM) - 274 EV 49.6%
Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT)/Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) - 264 EV 48.2%

Swing States:
Colorado - 50-49
New Hampshire - 50.2-49.3
New Mexico - 50-48.5
Ohio - 51-48
Wisconsin - 49-48
Virginia - 50-47
Nevada - 49.5-47
Florida - 52-46

Ron Paul wins in a landslide. However I'd argue the battle of fringe left and right wing ideologies would be more like Cenk Uygur vs Ben Shapiro

If anything, Ben Shapiro is more moderate and reasonable than the base of the Republican Party.
