Title: Favorite 3rd Party Presidential Candidate.
Post by: CelticHoosier1993 on February 19, 2012, 03:44:27 PM
I saw a few polls of the same question with democrats and republicans, and decided to do a 3rd party one.

1964 Constitution Party candidate Joseph Lightburn. I do not know what he stood for or what he said, but how can you not agree that this is the finest campaign slogan ever thought of:

()

Yes, he knew how to use his name to the fullest. May this be said of us.

How can you not love the guy?

Gotta say, I'm a bit surprised by the votes so far. I didn't think I'd see so many fellow Debs fans. I also thought I'd see more TR fans. But hey, the thread is young.

Hard choice between Ross Perot and Ron Paul.  I voted Perot.

I love Debs, Weaver, and Teddy Roosevelt, but for the sake of giving the man a little love in this poll, I voted for Weaver.

It's a tough one, but probably Teddy followed by Perot or write-in Gary Johnson.

I knew I was forgetting someone. I should have put Gary as one of the options.

Ewww...not as bad as John Schmitz, but still bad.

Clearly, 1912 was the best election :))

Though, of course, the Progressive party candidate came second that election. So, properly speaking TDR wasn't a third-party candidate at all - Taft was :)))
