Senator, I don't have a clear answer, because I have no solid guidelines. When I think there is a clear justification - be it defense of the homeland, defending an ally, or a chance to truly improve the world, I will recommend military action. I am not ruling out military action, but I am not advocating it right now. I also believe that Iran is seeking nuclear weapons to achieve its own destructive foreign policy goals, such as the annihilation of Israel and the establishment of Iranian hegemony in the region.
