Title: Met the First Minister of Scotland today
Post by: afleitch on April 28, 2012, 12:54:12 PM
I was in Glasgow meeting a friend at Hillhead Subway station when I found myself in a sea of SNP activists that I assumed were there for a campaign photo-shoot. There were also police and who comes up the station escalator but Alex Salmond. I then shake his hand, he speaks to me and cameras go off.

Very weird experience. And yes I said nice things :)

Great experience!

What did you talk about? If I were in a similar situation, I would probably be baffled and hardly be able to say anything meaningful except for making a comment that would be rather irrelevant, hence I'm asking.

What are going to do in the years to come if Scotland splits from England?

If it turns out i'm English, do you turn to stone and crumble like Voldermort in the first Harry Potter, when I shake you hand?
