Title: Unfortunate Ohio county names
Post by: I spent the winter writing songs about getting better on May 02, 2012, 10:34:10 AM
Anyone else notice Ohio has both a Stark County and a Hamilton County? I just did lol.

Maybe we should try to get a vote on the ballot to rename Naso's home "Naso County".

There's also Holmes county, but Holmes is a decent and respectable poster though.

Yup... and a city of Sandusky (my hometown BTW), and a Sandusky Bay, and a Sandusky River, and a city of Upper Sandusky.

You see, Hamilton was this guy who helped found our country...

Also, yes, I did know there was a Stark County. William McKinley was Stark County prosecutor, 1869-1871.

What's unfortunate about the name Hamilton?

Don't you mean a certain Bakersfield resident?

No, because he doesn't live in Bakersfield.

No, because he doesn't live in Bakersfield.

I was joking because that's what almost everybody around here calls him.

The irony is that in some threads, Hamilton was called "he who must not be named", as if googling "Alexander Hamilton" will result in the Atlas poster rather than a founder of the Constitution. ;)

Haha, imagine how difficult it would be to discuss on this forum the establishing of a national bank. ;)
