Maybe an outsider, like Kouchner. Tapie would be a lot controversial. I can see a stronger bid by de Villiers, appealing to FN kinds, some anti-establishment right wingers who dislike older names and even eurosceptic orphans of PS. Chirac would be favourite but real fight would be for a place in run-off.
