I don't know...I forgot Burdick was from ND, but WV, etc.; other than their home state, running mates don't tend to pull much in geographically save for a vastly ideologically and geographically different pair (ex. Helms and Ferraro or Wallace and Muskie, etc.); example being that in 92 Clinton probably could've won most of the southern states without Gore's help.
