Title: Kerry Vs. Romney

Let's assume it's 2016 with 2008-esque circumstances in which Obama is finishing his second term with lukewarm (rather than terrible) approvals and neither party is nominating a sitting President or Vice President. The two boring Massachusetts politicians get their respective nominations. Televised debates have the lowest ratings in years. Both choose boring white guys (of your choice) from their parties to be their Vice Presidents. Riveting. What happens

Should have made it 2008, with incumbent President Kerry vs. Romney. Or after two terms of George Bush, Kerry vs. Romney.  I think that would be more interesting and easier to predict.
