Title: Re: Poker Post by: bullmoose88 on July 05, 2012, 10:14:57 PM Hardly ever. Wish there were some games.
Title: Re: Poker Post by: Redalgo on July 05, 2012, 10:41:21 PM A long time ago I used to play five-card draw with my dad and grandma. These days I'm strongly inclined to never gamble, and when it comes to cards only play push and gin rummy.

Title: Re: Poker Post by: dead0man on July 06, 2012, 01:11:49 PM I prefer games of skill like Spades and Hearts.
Title: Re: Poker Post by: Yelnoc on July 06, 2012, 01:46:52 PM I used to play texas hold'em on line all the time. I was pretty good at one point, but it has been a while since I last played.

Title: Re: Poker Post by: anvi on July 07, 2012, 07:46:41 AM Played a lot with friends while in high school. More recently I've played Texas Hold'em, which I'm good enough to survive into the final two or three players even in a big game, but my play kind of falls apart at that point.

You sound like a tight player. As n decreases you have to loosen up, especially with your hand selection. Title: Re: Poker Post by: anvi on July 07, 2012, 10:46:31 AM Yeah, you're exactly right, bullmoose. I'm aware of the problem too, just psychologically, for some reason, it's hard for me to change tacks at that point in the game.
