I'm definitely in the "sooner or later you have to talk to them camp" or in the case of someone famous (or even semi-famous) it's based on their body of work/public utterances.  So, Carly slides down the scale cause it' a really really vapid song.  OTOH, someone like Lydia Loveless who most probably wouldn't view as hot as Carly becomes like a 1000 times hotter when you hear her sing.

That's a long way of saying I'd vote no. 

For the record, I don't care for Katie Perry's body of work, but I'd use earplugs or something because there are limits to my highmindedness.


And remember kids when you do get a chance with a woman you think is hot, the most important question to ask yourself is, "is she crazy?", cause hot is useless if they're crazy.
