Title: Do you know of any precincts in the country with higher turnout than mine?

I calculated the exact number now, we had 197.39% turnout. Go to love that same day registration :)

I don't think you can really calculate turnout with same-day registration...

That's why there should be a cutoff date in advance of election day. It currently takes an Election Commission about 2 weeks to assess names and addresses on provisional votes after Election Day. It takes about the same time to check new names in advance of the election. Add a week to print official lists for all the precincts in large counties, and a 21-30 day registration cutoff makes sense.

yeah but that's the official number. almost twice as many people voted as who were registered at the precinct the morning of election day.

No, but does anyone have a listing of state turnout in 2004 and 2000...
