Title: An 'interesting' conversation I had about FDR
Post by: Phony Moderate on September 15, 2012, 01:40:13 PM
It was a while ago....and it took place on a political forum of some kind (not this one). Anyway, it went something like this:

Poster A: FDR was a communist.

Me: Please elaborate.

Poster B: Because he stayed in office for 12 years.

----

So I guess we can assume that Margaret Thatcher, Charles de Gaulle, John Howard and Jacques Chirac are/were all communists too. Lulz.

That's a great story, dude. You should tell it at parties and it would get big laughs.

The ironic thing is actual communists hated FDRs guts.

Add John A. MacDonald, Robert Borden, William Pitt the Younger, Helmut Kohl, Hitler, Mussolini, and Franco to that list as well.  Sadly, someone that idiotic probably does think that those last three were.
