Probably Ventura for the hell of it. Title: Re: Minnesota gubernatorial election, 1998 Post by: Donerail on September 23, 2012, 08:25:28 AM Ventura. Not a Coleman fan, and if there's anything worse than career politicians it's dynastic politicians.

Without hindsight: Probably Ventura Title: Re: Minnesota gubernatorial election, 1998 Post by: FritzMacKenzie on September 23, 2012, 01:00:51 PM Definitely Ventura.

I do know that he did XFL broadcasts while Governor. Title: Re: Minnesota gubernatorial election, 1998 Post by: I spent the winter writing songs about getting better on September 24, 2012, 11:35:56 AM You guys know that Ventura's term was a disaster right? Most people outside Minnesota don't seem to. The question didn't clarify if it was with hindsight though. Title: Re: Minnesota gubernatorial election, 1998 Post by: Grumpier Than Thou on September 24, 2012, 02:31:00 PM You guys know that Ventura's term was a disaster right? How so? I'd prefer if BRTD answered this. I'm actually curious. Title: Re: Minnesota gubernatorial election, 1998 Post by: RIP Robert H Bork on September 24, 2012, 02:43:22 PM Norm Coleman
Sexgod Ventura. This is sort of unrelated, but who is 'KP?' Kim Possible? LOL Title: Re: Minnesota gubernatorial election, 1998 Post by: Donerail on September 24, 2012, 03:28:16 PM You guys know that Ventura's term was a disaster right? Doesn't mean he isn't awesome. Title: Re: Minnesota gubernatorial election, 1998 Post by: muon2 on September 25, 2012, 06:54:59 PM Keep in mind that Coleman was not seen as much of a conservative in 1998. He had just switched from D to R two years before. Many in the GOP didn't particularly trust his positions then, so a crossover to Jesse was not unusual for them.
Title: Re: Minnesota gubernatorial election, 1998 Post by: Sasquatch on September 25, 2012, 07:30:02 PM "You're an idiot, McMahon!" Ventura I voted Ventura. Title: Re: Minnesota gubernatorial election, 1998 Post by: Atlas Has Shrugged on September 25, 2012, 08:22:27 PM I admire Minnesota for having a strong (or once strong), regional third party. Florida could use that.

America would be much better off if a few Libertarians/Constitution/Green won office.
Title: Re: Minnesota gubernatorial election, 1998 Post by: The world will shine with light in our nightmare on October 03, 2012, 09:57:35 PM America would be much better off if a few Libertarians/ I'd agree with that. I always thought Monsoon was better with Bobby Heenan and that Jesse did his best work playing off Vince. Though I did like their Mania pairings... "You know, I used to like broadcasting with you, Gino, now you're gettin' worse than McMahon!" "I am?!" Title: Re: Minnesota gubernatorial election, 1998 Post by: 後援会 on October 05, 2012, 03:51:35 AM 1. Norm Coleman
