Tossup between Coleman and Ventura.

Probably Ventura for the hell of it.

Ventura. Not a Coleman fan, and if there's anything worse than career politicians it's dynastic politicians.

This is sort of unrelated, but who is 'KP?'  Kim Possible?

Humphrey, even though I don't like dynastic politicians unless they're quite liberal.

I do know that he did XFL broadcasts while Governor.

Most people outside Minnesota don't seem to. The question didn't clarify if it was with hindsight though.

How so? I'd prefer if BRTD answered this. I'm actually curious.

Keep in mind that Coleman was not seen as much of a conservative in 1998. He had just switched from D to R two years before. Many in the GOP didn't particularly trust his positions then, so a crossover to Jesse was not unusual for them.

Jesse Ventura and Gorilla Monsoon were the best commentating team of all-time.

I voted Ventura.

I admire Minnesota for having a strong (or once strong), regional third party. Florida could use that.

As could Pennsylvania. A Justice Party type thing would be cool.

I have a standing policy of supporting any and all 3rd party candidates in the USA who have a hope in hell of winning. America would be much better off if a few Libertarians/Constitution/Green won office.

I loathe everything the constitution party stands for, but I'd still like to see them elected just to have more voices and opinions out there for people to choose from.

I'd never vote for them, though.

Jesse Ventura and Gorilla Monsoon were the best commentating team of all-time.

I voted Ventura.

I always thought Monsoon was better with Bobby Heenan and that Jesse did his best work playing off Vince.

Though I did like their Mania pairings... "You know, I used to like broadcasting with you, Gino, now you're gettin' worse than McMahon!"
"I am?!"

That's it for me.
