"Romney campaign in shambles, why he may have already lost the election......"-MSNBC

Following a terrible campaign week Mitt Romney may have just cost himself the election. Starting with his Libyan remarks and now with the release of his 47% comments NBC's political team thinks it may now be harder for Romney to win. This comes after the release of several polls in key battlegrounds showing Obama now leading by 2008 margins. Of course there's always the chance the debates may change the race but currently if the election was held today Romney would lose. -9/24/12

Biden in Wisconsin: "The Wisconsin voters who support Romney are idiots..."

Joe Biden strikes again. At a surprise campaign rally in Madison, Wisconsin he called some of his potential voters idiots. "The people of Wisconsin are idiots if they support Romney, it's me and the President who will get this nation moving again!" The statement is not being received well by Wisconsin voters and the state Republican Chair demanded an apology. The White House has kept silent and for now it appears to be overshadowing Romney's earlier remarks. The Romney campaign has issued a strong condemnation of the remarks and began airing ads already using the Vice President's statement. All one can say now is......."Oh Joe!" - 9/25/12

Maine- Dill Out following a slew of bad polls for her campaign

The Democratic candidate for the now open Maine Senate, Cynthia Dill, has dropped out. She stated in her final campaign press release that it was not fair for her to waste her supporters money by running in a campaign in which she appears destined to lose. "After analyzing the recent polls it believe I shouldn't run anymore. I don't want hurt my supporters by asking for money and then spending it in a campaign that will likely end up as a loss."

Her statement comes just hours after a poll was released showing her in 3rd place with 7%. Dill's suspension comes as a large surprise as before Former Governor King entered the race as an independent she had real potential. Her reason for withdrawing however has apparently warmed her to some Democrats while alienating her to others. The election has now been moved from Lean King to solid King on our senate map. -9/27/12

Turmoil continues in Pakistan- Attack on embassy foiled

Just a few weeks following the fatal attack on the American embassy in Libya the Pentagon is reporting several agents intercepted a group planning to show solidarity by attacking the embassy in Pakistan. Tensions have continually been increasing in the region and have been considered to be a "thorn" in the President's side in what is normally considered a successful term on foreign policy.
