A new poll commissioned by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, a liberal PAC, shows Republican incumbent Frank Guinta and Democratic challenger Carol Shea-Porter in a statistical tie in the 1st Congressional District race and Democrat Ann Mclane Kuster with a small lead over Republican Rep. Charlie Bass in the 2nd District.

The poll was completed by Public Policy Polling on Sept. 24 and 25.

Sampling 401 likely voters in the 1st District, the poll showed Shea-Porter at 48 percent and Guinta at 47 percent with 4 percent undecided. The margin of error is 4.9 percent.

Sampling 461 likely voters in the 2nd District Kuster leads Bass, 51 to 46 percent with 4 percent undecided. The margin of error is 4.6 percent.

Makes you wonder why NRCC abandoned Guinta.

Problem is Kuster just went wild.

These will both flip again this year, New Hampshire has wild swings. Lean Democratic just for that the NRCC triaged Guinta and that Bass barely won last cycle.

Hmm, I wonder if there internal polling says something different. Is Krazen right about the Dems doing the same to Kissell? Until recently I thought he was favored, or maybe that was just Miles' putting on rose colored glasses that whole time (over a year), he was my source on that race. ;)

Kuster is a truly awful candidate and pretty representative of what I hate about New England and living there.
