Isn't Obama up by like, 14 in this poll?

I really don't understand how on Earth Murphy is failing so badly to Linda McMahon of all people.

Unlike the Wall Street shills Connecticut usually elects to the Senate, Murphy is an actual progressive. He better not screw this up.

Murphy deserves to lose this race, and I'm confident that indeed he will.

The fact that Barack Obama is "only" leading in CT by low double digits is telling, but you can't discount what a terrible candidate Murphy turned out to be. His favorables are underwater right now, 36-40, with an ugly 31-46 spread with Independents. Only 64% of Democrats think positively of Murphy -- compare that to the 84% of Republicans and 48% of independents who view McMahon favorably.
