Four local pollsters have shown the race tied. That ought to tell something.

Outside of Rasmussen and SUSA, all the recent NC polls have been close.

When's the last time any Pres/VP candidate from either campaign was in North Carolina?

There's no Senate race in North Carolina, only a gubernatorial that looks like a lock.  Presidentially, it's as much in play as Wisconsin is, but North Carolina has no secondary races and Obama unexpectedly winning North Carolina would be pure gravy while Romney pulling Wisconsin out of Obama's hat could prove a tipping point.

To be more clear about it, Romney needs Wisconsin, while Obama does not need North Carolina.

That isn't fair.  High Point is a third rate uni poll that showed Obama up since March, but it isn't a joke.  ;)

Hard to believe Romney is only up 1 since Obama isn't visiting the state in the final days(when he is going to a plethora of states) and hasn't been there since the convention.

That's wasn't a rhetorical question. I was asking when was the last time either candidate from either party was in North Carolina? My memory says it's been a long time, but you know how memory gets as you get older.

Only 3% Hispanic  nationally? .....Nice try better luck next time.
