Yes, unless some Nixon-esque scandal happens in the next four years, this election ensures that Obama will go down as one of the great presidents in the American history.

It makes me happy Republicans will never be able to say they defeated Obama. Never ever.

And they can't use the "he didn't get a majority of Americans on his side" excuse like they did for Clinton. :D

Indeed. In a few decades, I'm pretty sure that he will be regarded as a better President than any of his 3 predecessors (with regard to the context). Of course, he's really the best President since LBJ.

Heh, I'd probably put him slightly ahead of LBJ m'self. Mostly due to foreign policy things would I have such an edge.

But it is kind of crazy that for ages we haven't had such happen.

Huh. He better get a hell of a lot better on foreign policy before he's lookin' at my top 5, anyway. Still, a neat tidbit.

Killing OBL and ending two wars (not to mention toppling Gaddafi) is enough to make the most successful foreign policy president since FDR.

Nothing innovative -- adoption of the safe Bush I/Clinton foreign policy that creates no problems but is well-positioned to deal promptly with anything screwy.
