On a serious note, there's talk of McConnell being primaried. I think he and Rand have been gettin along (Rand wants to seem acceptable to the leadership because he's delusional enough to think he can win the Presidential nomination in 2016. A very sad, disturbed family...) so that wing of the party in KY will probably be kept in line. Any non-libertarian grassroots types looking at waging a credible primary challenge? State Auditor Adam Edelen, Attorney General Jack Conway, Secretary of State Alison Grimes, Former Congressman Ben Chandler. But because she's a movie star interested in politics she should run for Senate. This is the craziness that will lead to Democratic Nominee Liz Warren and landslide defeat in 2016.

Al Franken is a wonk and was a close confidant of Paul Wellstone. He wasn't a celebrity that thought one day that it would be "cool" if he was elected senator.
