1800-1820.

If you include popular vote victories as wins, then 1864-1892.

1992-2000 you mean, counting Gore as winning in 2000?

Clinton was president until January of 2001.

Agreed. I listed earlier about 1968-present having only questionable candidates, but I'm just not a Johnson fan. The alternative would have been Goldwater in 64', though.

Just 1996.

I would have supported Perot in 1992 and Gore lost 2000.

Eisenhower was fine, but I would have voted for Stevenson.

1860-1876, if popular vote victories count.

1900-1912 is a long time period, but equals that of 1980-1992.  Trying to think of longer and probably could if I looked on a chart.

The longest period of time, where I would have voted for the one party would have been 1940 to 1960, where I would have voted for the Republican Party. Back when the Republican Party wasn't controlled by Religious fundamentalists, right-wing nutjobs and the works.

1932 to 1948 (of course, that was only two candidates). I was a bit surprised that I couldn't find a longer period than that.

8 years?  Wow, you never liked presidents who served back-to-back?

In my lifetime 1981-93.

Historically, 1893-1913.  I think I'd have voted for Cleveland.

Did you realize that, if Bush finishes his term, this will be the first time in American history since Madison and Monroe that two Presidents in a row have served two full terms?

Thus this mean that you would have supported Bill Cinton in '92 and '96, Al Gore in 2000 and John Kerry in 2004? Or Ralph Nader from 1996 to 2004?

In modern times, it's hard to find a long stint.  In hindsight, I'd say it was the Truman, Eisenhower, and JFK years, but I can't say I wouldn't have cast a ballot for Dewey had I been forced to decide at the time.
