I just reviewed a long list of potential candidates and I couldnt find one I would not vote for.  I guess it really depends on who they ran against, but right now it would be hard for me to vote against any Democrat because we are all desperate for some wins.

That's exactly how I feel at this point.

I'm not totally sure, but I can't say that I would vote for Lieberman. Depends on how far right the Repub is.

I wouldn't vote for Sharpton, nor would I vote for Zell Miller.

Of people who have a chance in hell of being nominated, no one.

What the hell is your problem with Mitt Romney?

He's Governor of MA instead of Jane Swift.

So who is Jane Swift?

And most would see that as a very good thing but not Walter...

There are a few candidates for whom I'd consider switching my vote to the Libertarian Party...perhaps Rudy (I really don't know where he stands on the economic spectrum...but I don't care that he's a social moderate/liberal), perhaps some of the weird Southern ones (Haley Barbour), perhaps Santorum (although my opinion of him has gone up markedly in recent months).

Again, considering I don't know that much about many of the more obscure or more local-level candidates, it's hard to say.

I'd only consider crossing the aisle if Bredesen were the Democratic nominee.

I would have a hard time voting for media favorites McCain and Hagel, but still probably would because I cant imagine the democrat alternative being any better.

It depends on who the GOP nominee.  If it's Hillary v. McCain, I'd probably vote for McCain but in a Hillary vs. Frist scenario, Hillary hands down.

I would also definitely vote for pretty much any moderate Dem (Bayh, Warner, Bresden, etc.)

I would have a very hard time supporting John McCain, and would do so only in the case that the Dems nominated a card carrying Communist.  Aside from his pro-defence stance, McCain is Nixonian in his desire to let the Dems have the every will in social and domestic policy.  I'd sit that one out or vote third party rather than vote for McCain.

Looking through this thread reminded me that I also wouldn't vote for McCain (because I feel he is too old and as much as I respect him I've never had good feelings reggarding his mental condition) or Lugar... I considered somethings Lugar said during the Clinton years (when we were at war) to not have been in good taste.

Its fnny I'd vote for people like Giuliani, Romney, Specter or Patiaki in a heartbeat

Lyndon LaRouche, Al Sharpton and Zell Miller. Since I have a better chance of winning the nomination than them, it's a moot point.

Hard to rule anyone out at this point... I like  both Hillary and McCain, but for different reasons obviously... Jury is out in both parties right now as to who really will toss their hat in the ring...

I won't vote for Guiliani, Schwarzennegger, or Pataki in the primaries, but if they are nominated, I will vote for them for President (depending on the democrat [Lieberman is one I'd consider, but I don't know a whole lot about him).
Definately vote for: Rice, Allen, any of the Bush squad, etc

For myself it is because what he did to his ex-wife makes Rudy and Bill look like Angels.
