Post by: RogueBeaver on August 13, 2013, 09:35:39 AM
Leads Tillis 47/39, Cain 46/39, approvals 42/41. Tillis is toxic to those who know him. (http://images.politico.com/global/2013/08/12/130813_ncsenatepoll.html)

Don't make a difference- 23%
Not sure- 9%

If the NRSC isn't ditching Tillis entirely by this point, then I was wrong about Moran's skills as its leader.

Under 50% and the majority of undecideds are Romney voters. Not even close to being over.

She pulled 11% of McCain's voters in 2008 and she's already getting 9% of Romney's voters over Tillis.

Is Jim Cain going to run or not? And if he does, what are his chances? He'd be a first-time candidate, but it seems he has connections, can self-fund, and could probably get tacit NRSC backing if he does run.
