It'll probably be closer to 1996 than 2002.

Oberweis is a MUCH stronger challenger than Sauerberg ('08 challenger) was, but Durbin remains very popular and is no danger of losing. Durbin's ceiling is probably his 2002 margin of victory (22 points). It's difficult to see him getting any higher than that given the state and national environment.
