Not that it matters (because WI will remain a toss-up for the next months), but which result should be entered to the database ?

Historically, if a pollster releases both RV and LV polls, I think the standard has been to only enter RV polls until Labor Day and after that the LV polls.

So ... ?

(maybe I need Dave's opinion on this again)

Why the RV/LV split? I would expect the reverse

It appears the Burke base is more fired up than the Walker base.

It appears the Burke base is more fired up than the Walker base.

Voters who recognize Burke are more likely support her: 35% of RVs have no opinion of her, down to 26% for LVs.

In the AG Race:

RV: Happ (D) 40% Schimel (R) 33%
LV: Happ (D) 42%  Schimel (R) 32%

Dominating!

Isn't likely voters usually better?

Oh no. Walker down.

Well, there's still time. Walker can bomb the airwaves.

That must be the biggest enthusiasm gap ever seen, in favour of a Democrat

Clearly the problem here is access to the polls. If we only expanded early voting to 34 days before the election so we aren't like those horrible Jim Crow advocates in Ohio who want to cut early voting down to 30 days. :P

But in all seriousness, this is a really interesting result: not only does Burke do better among likely voters, it's a six point margin. That's a lot.

If Walker bombs (bad as he is, he so far is no terrorist) it will be like a boring drama or an un-funny comedy on Broadway. He has legal problems, and he has no upside on popularity.

I was polled by Rasmussen on Monday night for the WI Gov race, so that will probably be out Thurs or Fri.  Should be a good sense where the race is soon.

That would probably be one of FDR's elections in South Carolina.

Rumor is Rasmussen will show Walker ahead 48-46.
