Yeah, starting to look like Deal may win outright on election day.

I'm surprised this is ending up with a wider margin than the senate race.

Isn't Georgia dead last in unemployment? Deal should be getting crucified.

Which means one or both of these must be true:

Nunn name > Carter name
Being corrupt > Loving outsourcing

I think the focus and resourcing has clearly shifted from Carter to Nunn.

I think the focus and resourcing has clearly shifted from Carter to Nunn.

That's how it appears down here.  Which is sad, since Deal is horrible.

Georgia has the highest unemployment in the country.

For the Democrats, the metro Atlanta media market is completely focused on Nunn (with few spots for Carter).  The resources are limited, so this late in the game, the powers that be appear to be focusing their attention on her.

Novel theory, given what Unemployment Charlie Crist unleashed on Florida in his tenure.

I'm not really. Open Senate seat vs. incumbent governor. He should have a few point edge.

I wouldn't be shocked if Deal avoids the runoff at this point.

I can't help but notice your recent lack of commentary on the Florida governor's race. How'd you like that Quinnipiac poll today?
