If these were really the only two choices, Falwell might not win in a landslide. Rockwell would probably get the plutocratic backing, thus enabling him to finance his campaign better. Hey, Falwell was making a name for himself back then as an outspoken supporter of segregation. So this match-up could have happened when both were alive. The what-ifs provide some creative license though. |
