Bayh/Clark, though I'd prefer Bayh/Richardson

Bayh/Warner

But I wouldn't be opposed at all if Bayh/Clark, Bayh/Richardson, Bayh/Clinton or Bayh/Biden

For those Warner/Bayh people:

Why would you put Warner on the presidential slot and Bayh on the vice-presidential slot? C'mon! Okay, so I understand a bunch of people on here think Warner is the man, but why would a one-term governor make a better presidential candidate than an experienced and popular governor and senator whom even Bill Clinton said "might be president one day"? Experience, anyone?

I agree Skybridge. While I would find a Warner/Bayh candicacy attractive, I prefer Bayh/Warner for the reasons you have stated

Dave

none.  they are a ll pretty horrible people.

bayh: pretty much has zero views on anything.  whichever way the wind is blowing.

clark: a psycho

edwards: lol  being a mutli-millionaire populist is cool!

hillary:  might win 4 or 5 states max

warner: 'hey, im a one term governor of va who nearly beat john warner in 96 (mainly due to name confusion), elect me president"

Bayh's a principled moderate, who won't be blinded by ideology (one way or another) and that, my friend, might actually be a good thing :)

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I've had a gut-full of ideologues (progressive or reactionary, liberal or conservative) and have, over the years, developed a preference for pragmatists, who can get the job done

Anyone who is not a freedom fighter, in WalterMitty's opinion, it seems.

Hillary/Clark is easily the weakest, Bayh/Warner is the strongest

Warner/Bayh, but that ticket may piss off the far left.

I should have worded that better.  What I meant to say was, it will isolate the far left.  Neither Bayh or Warner is progressive enough to keep them happy.

They seem to like Warner at DailyKos. Bayh would be in better position if he'd voted against the bankruptcy bill.

If in the unlikely event that Warner or Bayh are nominated, they should reach out to the left to select their VP candidate rather than each other.

Warner/Clark
      or
Warner/Obama

Both of those would be very good tickets.

If you want a repeat of Edwards maybe. Obama would be a horrible VP pick in 2008.

He would have four years of experience as a Senator, he's already racked up a fairly liberal voting record meaning he won't attract moderates, the constituency he appeals to (blacks & liberals) already are in the Democrats back pockets, and he brings no state that wasn't in play into play.

After Obama's DNC speech, the Republican talking point was "Uhhhhh, he's a conservative". Yeah, they don't know what to do about him.
