40% Trump
  4% Johnson
  1% Stein

Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, in conjunction with Breitbart News Network, conducted a random survey of 1,102 registered voters across Wisconsin on October 4th. The poll has a margin of error of ±3.0% at the 95% confidence level. The total may not round to 100% because of rounding. The poll was conducted using automated telephone calls and online responses, with the results weighted by voting  patterns

Wasn't even worth calling this state fool's gold.

Breitbart is low energy and can't show their patron in the lead. Sad!

Trumpbart comment sections never fail to amuse:

Hillary is underperforming among white voters by a lot, she is at 29% ...Hussein got 37%..to upset this deficit she needs 100% black vote, 100% Mexican vote and at least 98% DEAD voters vote

Q27: Sometimes people change their minds about their vote after thinking through the issues raised by the questions posed during surveys. With that in mind, we’re going to ask this question again: If the election were held today, who would be your choice for President?

46-43 Hillary/Trump

In other words: We'd like to ask you again, because our poll sponsor doesn't like high Hillary-margins, so we need to get a more Trump-ish result ...

Yep... push-polling at its "finest".

So even Breitbart has Wisconsin in high single digits. It's probably wider in reality.

Treating Breitbart as an internal, Clinton is almost certainly up by at least 10 here. OOPS!

for god sakes, she's at 48% even with third parties. Time to bury Trump completely.

this poll, laughably, has party breakdown as D+2. The party breakdown last election was D+5.

Nah, the original toplines from Gravis (+2 in FL and +8 in WI) are probably right.

Gravis just asked again and found better numbers for Trump, so they are not getting dumped by Breitbart ... :P

Once again Trashvis over-polls conservatives - 47% of voters in this poll claim to be conservative.

it's mind-boggling enough that WI would vote for mister walker ...(compared to him the govs of illinois/maryland/mass are commies afaik)....but still be a safe dem-place in presidential years.

Favorable numbers:

Clinton: 48/51
Trump: 38/60

Those are actually damn good favorables for Hillary in WI. Looks like the vast majority of Bernie supporters have come around on her.

With these kind of questions, I doubt the credibility of the poll even if they came after the main question.  These polls shouldn't' be allowed imo

Wisconsin will not be close.  And, yes, this is for right-wing Breitbart News.

Hillary Clinton probably wins Iowa based on this.

WI is not a "safe D" state in presidential years, but it sure as hell is with Trump as the Republican nominee, just like pretty much every other swing state except maybe IA.

This is what I've been trying to say this entire election.  Republicans in Wisconsin, when not lowering taxes as much as mathematically possible, are about union busting and business putting the beatdown on workers.  They are also deeply religious.  An anti-trade, blue-collar-appealing, rude braggart who insults women and has no religious values or principles, is about as horrible a match for Wisconsin's right wing as you can possibly come up with.

Trump is getting BLOWN OUT in a state where hardline GOP governor Scott Walker has won 3 in a row. Sad!

Walker or his hand-picked successor are probably through in 2018.

If you're paying close attention, they asked the question differently the second time. They allowed for "other" and "not vote"

Let me also be clear that that is not a best practice. It is what it is with Gravis. That's definitely not good quality control.

Maybe its a development in the last few days, but can you explain why you have Wisconsin as 'toss-up' on your predictions?
