Title: Is Jason Kander the Orman of this Cycle? Post by: Young Conservative on October 20, 2016, 09:30:22 PM Will the polls show a narrow lead or a tossup election only to have the incumbent senator win by a large Margin like Pat Roberts in 2014?
To refresh everyones memory here's a helpful summary: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Senate_election_in_Kansas,_2014 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Senate_election_in_Kansas,_2014) Title: Re: Is Jason Kander the Orman of this Cycle? Post by: Gass3268 on October 20, 2016, 09:43:28 PM No, Missouri regularly elects Democrats statewide unlike Kansas.
Title: Re: Is Jason Kander the Orman of this Cycle? Post by: Skye on October 20, 2016, 09:47:42 PM Nah, Kansas is a far cry from MO. Plus, even Brownback survived, no way Orman was going to win as soon as he was tied to the Democrats.
Title: Re: Is Jason Kander the Orman of this Cycle? Post by: Xing on October 20, 2016, 10:18:57 PM No, I'd argue that he might be the Cory Gardner of this cycle.

I'm afraid Joe Heck is the Greg Orman of this cycle. Title: Re: Is Jason Kander the Orman of this Cycle? Title: Re: Is Jason Kander the Orman of this Cycle? Post by: Figueira on October 21, 2016, 09:48:48 AM I've become slightly worried about that recently, but it's still a bad analogy because Missouri is not Kansas, 2016 is not 2014, and Kander seems like a better candidate than Orman. I'm currently predicting a slight Blunt victory just because I'm skeptical, but I think this is legitimately a tossup.
So, I'll vote No. Title: Re: Is Jason Kander the Orman of this Cycle? Post by: Attorney General, LGC Speaker, and Former PPT Dwarven Dragon on October 21, 2016, 01:20:22 PM Heidi Heitkamp. I'm afraid Joe Heck is the Greg Orman of this cycle. The analogy doesn't work for open seats. Title: Re: Is Jason Kander the Orman of this Cycle? Post by: Figueira on October 21, 2016, 01:24:47 PM Heidi Heitkamp. I'm afraid Joe Heck is the Greg Orman of this cycle. The analogy doesn't work for open seats. Nor does it work for Nevada. Title: Re: Is Jason Kander the Orman of this Cycle? Post by: Ljube on October 21, 2016, 03:47:12 PM No. Hillary Clinton is the Orman of this cycle.
