Pretty consistent with CNN.

What are the shifts from last time?

The GOP is going to be so screwed after the election.

I don't think the GOP numbers are surprising, Trump is leader of the party being the presidential nominee. I expect a big shift once he losses.

Whenever I see someone use the ^ or say "above", I remember that I must be one of the very few that has the forum set to read in reverse chronological order, with new posts at the top.

Why scroll all the way down to see the new thing, when I can have it pop up right at the top? Lord knows I return to some of these threads so many times that I'm often just looking to see a singular new post/response I was waiting on.

Yep.  If Romney or Rubio or whoever was the party's presidential nominee, they'd be getting similar numbers in a head to head against anyone else.  But Trump won't be the nominee anymore in a few weeks, so I doubt his popularity will sustain itself any more than past nominees.

When you click "new" on an active thread it takes you directly to the earliest new post.

On the other hand, if there is more than one new post and the most recent is at the top, you have to scroll down to get to it. Besides, it just seems unnatural to read from the bottom up. The human brain is probably wired for top-down.
