I am surprised Trump is doing so well in MT, considering the blowout national margin Hillary has. In 2008 Obama only lost MT by 3 points, while winning by 7 nationally.

I would expect Ted Cruz or another more libertarian minded candidate to win by a big margin like that. Trump is a big city east coast authoritarian, not exactly a great fit for the mountain west.

But MT isn't in play.

The party ID is way too Republican for Montana.

Way too many undecideds, and it does seem friendly for Trump, but he should win MT comfortably.
