His seeming inaccessibility drove me out of my wits, and it was all the worse because he was one of the most attractive boys I had ever seen. My only suggestion is to be very careful not to allow it to occupy too much of your thoughts, as impossible as that might seem. Also, with age you will have the comfort of knowing that the reason why you couldn't nab him is not because of any personal failing, but an immutable difference of sexual preference. Good luck.

Also, I have this thing where I fall instantly in love with anyone who shows even a slight bit of interest in me. Even if I didn't like them before, once I find out they like me, I begin to like them back. I'm also prone to multiple crushes at once within my group of friends. So what's worse?
