None of the presidents up there have a big discrepancy in their approvals between the parties. FDR is probably one of the more popular Democrats with Republicans, but you have to imagine there's a big gap, and if FDR was up there, it would probably be seen as much more of a "liberal" monument than an all-American yay patriotism monument - which is ironic, seeing as it currently doesn't have any Democrats on there.
