Post by: Co-Chair Bagel23 on April 15, 2017, 07:52:28 PM If LBJ were to resurrect from the dead now, and announce a candidacy for the presidency in 2020 against Donald Trump, who would win in Texas in 2020, Donald Trump, or LBJ? I think LBJ would storm the state with at least 60% of the vote, what do you think?

Texas goes swing. It boils down to how campaigning goes. If LBJ runs as a moderate or a conservative Democrat, then he could take Texas. But if he runs as a liberal, he'd lose it. |
