Just saw this post-was this meant for Lumine's seat, and if so, Simfan never formally withdrew from the race as far as I can tell. Or is this for my seat which is coming up for a vote soon, and does Simfan still want to run? Confused.

Turns out the Alliance did vote on Simfan vs Lumine and endorsed Lumine-however I'm not sure if Simfan would have remained a candidate(he doesn't seem to have dropped out). He didn't appear on the ballot paper. In any case it looks like he isn't running for my seat, but I'd appreciate some clarification over whether Simfan should have been on the ballot or not.

EDIT: fhtagn said Simfan was an invalid voter, can someone check if he actually ended up not being counted, and whether he was also an invalid candidate?

The 10th Lincoln Assembly saw a surge in activity compared to the 9th so I know that with strong leadership you can dig yourselves out of this. The number of seats is two minus the number of candidates. We have seven declared candidates and three write ins (there is precedent of this to some extent - see November 2017 and November 2016 for proof). Since the likely seventh and eighth place vote getters have past experience, it's not a bad thing n the instance but it should be modified in some way, shape, or form in the future.
