I wish the best of luck to President fhtagn Former, Prime Minster/Rep Harry S Truman, Former President Lumine and Senator LLR. I will post the actual debate thread in a short moment.Please feel free to PM me any suggestions for questions you want to ask the candidates.

My unbiased #take on the debate so far:

Opening Statements
Lumine: "I was president once and Atlasia was good then. Now I'm not president and Atlasia sucks. Coinicidence???"
LLR: "My platform is in fact very simple. It has 22 points total but it really boils down - "
*sees time*
"weed and socialism!"
*runs off because he accidentally had an unresolved scheduling conflict*

Truman: "Have you ever noticed how cool Fremont is? Like, it's the best in the nation in terms of activity and policy. Oh, and I'm the Prime Minister too. Those are definitely connected. Also, I'm not a fascist or a communist or Richard Nixon. So shut up."
Fhtagn: "I'm a president who gets things done! I sure do want to finish up this war pretty soon. Let's make Atlasia even greater: elect me quickly."

To clarify, is Candidate Truman's position that all convicted criminals including misdemeanors, forfeit the right to keep and bear arms? Or just convicted felons?

Yeah, I should have been more specific — I meant convicted felons. Hopefully nobody supports disarming citizens for running a red light. :P

Wow, our current President is just an embarrassing mess in the debate. Really makes you wonder why DFW strategized and colluded for months to put fhtagn in there at his own expense without facing the voters. Horrendous.

You know it says something about how far we have come and at the risk of it being labled "echo-chamber consensus", that both Labor and Federalist candidates came out against the minimum income.

But just to make sure before someone is tempted to use this as a justification to return to the good ole days of unicameralism,

Minimum income was passed pre-reset 7-1 in 2013:

So plenty of consensus to go around, just on a far more socialist basis.


Of course my understanding was we would repeal or scale back the minimum wage in exchange, which of course never happened.

Asking 12 questions at once to candidates is a lot. Unless candidates were given questions in advance, they don't have much time to think and write answers. And viewers receive big block posts to read.

They used to be spread out in a blocks. Even in October of last year, I think they were split up and I struggled and missed most of the deadlines because of Hurricane Matthew and work.
