Washtenaw MI and this were Nixon 68 - McGovern 72 - Ford 76 Counties.

Particularly strange about Washtenaw MI is that is also voted for Carter in 80.

So did McGovern himself. Ironic maybe a little sad that he still didn’t win his home state with all the SD county flips from 68. Nixon margin still too large to overcome.

Washtenaw, MI alternated RDRDRDRD from 1960-1988 before breaking heavily for the Dems in 1992 and following.
