Cut the undecided, and allot a few for 3rd parties, and you basically have Trumps margin in 2016, maybe a tiny bit more favorable for abbot. Which in a dem leaning year is probably what one should expect when a popular governor is running for reelection in a state where Trump is deep underwater. So yeah, basically confirms the safe R rating.

I have no doubt Abbot wins but I'm curious about what these numbers mean for Cruz' election chances. Abbot is way more popular than Cruz.
