James has pretty much run out of money while Stabenow has ads up all over the state. In fact, James hasn't run a single ad since the primary ended. For Republicans to have had any chance in this race, they should have nominated Pensler who as a free-spending millionaire would have been able to at least stay on TV post-primary and even that would have still been a waste of time and money.

Debbie Stabenow is well on her way to being the next Carl Levin, so entrenched that Republican opponents had a hard time winning more than single-digit counties.
