Title: Re: FL-SEN: Nelson + 2 (USAToday/Suffolk) Post by: ElectionsGuy on October 30, 2018, 10:30:45 AM How about we poll states like Missouri, Indiana, Montana, Iowa, Wisconsin, etc. instead of polling Florida for the 70th time? Just a suggestion.

Just a suggestion. Only Marquette and NBC has polled Wisconsin in October. Title: Re: FL-SEN: Nelson + 2 (USAToday/Suffolk) Post by: MT Treasurer on October 30, 2018, 11:06:15 AM Scott is definitely a strong candidate, but candidate quality can only get you so far if the fundamentals aren’t in your favor. Still a Toss-up, but slight Nelson advantage, I guess.

I always just knew him by Connie Mack. Probably better that way. The only reason Scott is even a viable candidate here is because of his daddy warbucks status money, and because he managed to not screw up a hurricane recovery effort, which tbh is a really low bar. Other than that, Scott is a terrible candidate. He has a veritable truckload of baggage, including a historical level of fraud, and a rather bland personality. It's why he barely won his other elections despite the hugely favorable environment and while other FL row execs were landsliding into office.
