The only way Scott/DeSantis win in that case would be an R+3. I doubt that the electorate shapes up to be like that. Even a tied electorate elects the 2.

TBH, any Pollster who is pulling a D+5 Sample in FL out of their hat this late in the Game need to get their Heads & Polling examined. Maybe it's D+1 (I can buy that) but certainly not D+5.

I'm not surprised a Politico reporter wouldn't believe a poll showing Dems up. According to Politico, Dems are always in disarray.

They generally nail the result. At most they have only been off by 2 since 2010:

So, if their predictions are wrong, they're usually within the margin of error.

A bit exaggerated, but the last batch of FL polls have been terrible for Scott and DeSantis.

D+5 sample seems a little too off. Not getting my hopes up high for Scott, but I'm assuming a more or less split electorate in Florida. That said, I'd "adjust" to Nelson +2.

Agree more than I disagree. It will be close, but we will know by the end of the night that Nelson and Gillum brought it home.

Probably too generous to Nelson, but looks like fundamentals are winning out, after all. Nelson is so incredibly lucky that Trump is president right now and not a more inoffensive Republican or Clinton.

You may laugh, but this is actually true. Nelson has never been a very high-profile legislator during his decades in Washington. It is possible, however, that this actually helps him, since he hasn't had the occasion to generate controversy or to become involved in situations that would hurt his approval ratings.

At any rate, my rating of Lean Democratic seems to be definitively justified. Nelson will not win by 7 points tomorrow, but I am fairly confident in saying that he will prevail.
