Post by: HillGoose on March 13, 2019, 08:40:58 PM Some guy in high school told me that they did, and that one time he got pulled over and they were going to search his car but he said "I do not consent the search of my vehicle." and they backed off, but like is that true?

Same standard as any other search of a home, etc. A brief stop of the car with no comprehensive search, though, can be done with just the weaker reasonable suspicion standard. It doesn't matter if you have anything or not. And definitely don't do what my daughter did once.
