Title: Re: Trump 2016 voters in the 2012 GOP primaries Post by: Grassroots on May 27, 2019, 01:31:13 AM Gingrich, Santorum, and Romney all shared future Trump voters, but Gingrich's candidacy (along with some other factors) basically created the sort of mutated neo-paleocon populist wing in the party that Trump eventually made his base.
