Title: Why was there no Republican Candidate in the 2018 ND-SOS Election? Post by: America Needs a 13-6 Progressive SCOTUS on June 12, 2019, 12:37:59 PM The Democratic Candidate still lost to an Independent Candidate but it seems really strange that Republicans would not run a candidate of their own in a state so Republican as North Dakota.
Title: Re: Why was there no Republican Candidate in the 2018 ND-SOS Election? Post by: Politician on June 12, 2019, 12:39:12 PM The Republican incumbent got primaried, but said candidate soon had to drop out due to a divorce scandal. The defeated incumbent ran as an Indy with GOP support.
