Title: Why is the margin of error higher if the confidence level is higher? Post by: Plankton5165 on August 03, 2019, 01:59:09 AM I thought the margin of error was supposed to be lower.

Example 90% sure that it is within 2 points 95% sure it is within 3 points. 3 points is a larger range so you can be more sure it is in that range rather than 2%. |
